Kurrajong Natural Medicine Centre offers Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Western herbal medicine and Remedial therapies to the communities of Kurrajong, Richmond, North Richmond, Glossodia, Kurmond, and the greater Hawkesbury area.




Health Care Professionals

The primary health care professionals at Kurrajong Natural Medicine Centre are Danny & Susan Siegenthaler. They both have over 30 years of clinical experience in their respective fields of expertise.

Susan and Danny Siegenthaler are members of the ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society), Australia's largest natural therapies association.

AtMyDeskFollowing 4 years full-time study at the NSW College of Natural Therapies in Sydney, and completion of an internship at the Red Cross Hospital in Hangzhou, China, Danny graduated as a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985.

In addition, Danny also completed his Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the University of Western Sydney. He has a particular interest in the areas of Women's health and Reproductive problems in women and men.

He is registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (Registration Number: CMR0001712202) as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner - Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner with General Registration.

Both Susan and Danny have many years experience in teaching in the areas of natural medicine, general biology and human biology at a tertiary level for both private education providers, TAFE Colleges and Universities, and continue to be involved in teaching both General and Human Biology at the University of Western Sydney.

Susan Siegenthaler - Medical Herbalist

Susan Siegenthaler Susan has trained with both Denis Stewart and Dorothy Hall as a medical herbalist. Over the years, Susan gained additional qualifications as a medical aromatherapist and has developed a unique and very effective method to treat musculo-skeletal disorders (problems associated with muscles, joints and/or soft tissues).

Susan has also taught many students in herbal medicine and medical aromatherapy. Apart from owning her own Natural Therapies College, she has taught at Nature Care, TAFE and several Australian Universities. Over the years Susan has trained many students, many of whom are still in practice today.
