Wildcrafted Cottage, located in the centre of the Village at Kurrajong, in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, is the first retail outlet to stock Wildcrafted's full range of natural skin and personal care products as well as its range of therapeutic herbal remedies.
Wildcrafted Cottage is also a Natural Therapies Clinic offering Western herbal medicine, Medical Aromatherapy, Acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, Naturopathy and Remedial Massage. Danny and Susan Siegenthaler wanted to combine their experience and expertise in Alternative Medicine with their range of natural and organic herbal products under one roof, to provide the community with a one-stop-shop for all their natural health care needs.
Wildcrafted Cottage is part of Wildcrafted Herbal Products, a small Australian owned company that produces the highest quality natural skin and herbal products for people who need and prefer to use 100% natural herbal products for their skin and their skin disorders.
Wildcrafted originated over 20 years ago in a natural therapies clinic as a result of the need of patients who had difficulties finding skin care products that did not irritate their skin, or needed help with controlling or treating a current skin disorder.
Susan Siegenthaler, a Medical Herbalist and Aromatherapist, started to make special formulations of skin care products that were safe, effective and most of all, totally natural. She utilised herbal extracts, essential oils, hydrosols and other totally natural ingredients that helped her patients to gain control over their problem skin.
In addition, Susan created a range of therapeutic herbal creams and compounds that patients became to rely on and love. As a result, a few years ago, Wildcrafted Herbal Products was launched on the internet and has been attracting interest from all over the world. However, Australian visitors to our website often ask if there was a shop and if so where... Well, now (or rather very soon) there will be.
Wildcrafted Cottage - Kurrajong, will the the first physical outlet in Australia with others to follow over the coming years.
Wildcrafted Cottage will not only provide a physical outlet for our range of natural herbal skin and personal care products, but it will also be a natural therapies clinic.
The Cottage Clinic will be operated by highly qualified, experienced health care professionals. The range of available therapies will include: Medical herbalism, traditional Chinese medicine, and Medical aromatherapy. Other modalities such as Therapeutic Massage, and Reiki treatments may also be made available.
Wildcrafted Cottage will provide the opportunity for people to come and touch, smell and experience the full range of our natural herbal skin care and personal care products. The Cottage will also be the only physical outlet for our therapeutic range of products. A range which up to now was only available to our own patients or people who submitted our Virtual Skin Doctor Form on-line.
